🗓 8 Days Hunza & Skardu Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure from Islamabad / Lahore → Chilas
Departure via Hazara Motorway.
Stopovers at Mansehra, Naran, and Lulusar Lake.
Cross Babusar Top (if open) or take Kaghan–Besham route.
Overnight stay in Chilas.
Day 2 – Chilas → Skardu Valley
Breakfast at hotel.
Drive along the Indus River and see the meeting point of Indus & Gilgit Rivers.
Stop at Kachura Lakes (Upper & Lower) and Manthokha Waterfall.
Reach Skardu City by evening.
Overnight stay in Skardu.
Day 3 – Explore Shigar & Cold Desert
Visit Shigar Fort & Valley, explore Blind Lake.
Experience the magical Sarfaranga Cold Desert (Jeep ride & sunset photography).
Return to Skardu for night stay.
Day 4 – Basho Valley / Khaplu Excursion
(Choose one based on preference)
Option 1: Visit Basho Valley – lush meadows, pine forest, and streamside picnic.
Option 2: Drive to Khaplu Fort & Chaqchan Mosque, explore the historic village.
Return to Skardu for overnight stay.
Day 5 – Skardu → Hunza Valley
Early departure for Hunza via Gilgit (approx. 6–7 hrs).
Stop at Nanga Parbat viewpoint, Junction Point of Three Mountain Ranges, and Rakaposhi View Point.
Arrival in Hunza (Karimabad) by evening.
Overnight stay in Hunza.
Day 6 – Explore Hunza Valley
Visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, and Royal Garden.
Explore Karimabad Bazaar for local handicrafts & apricot products.
Enjoy sunset view from Eagle’s Nest Viewpoint.
Overnight stay in Hunza.
Day 7 – Upper Hunza (Khunjerab Excursion)
Drive towards Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China Border) via Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, Hussaini Bridge, and Sost.
Optional boating at Attabad Lake.
Return to Hunza in the evening.
Overnight stay in Hunza.
Day 8 – Return Journey
Breakfast at hotel.
Departure for Islamabad / Lahore.
Stopovers at scenic points along the Karakoram Highway.
End of memorable journey with unforgettable northern memories!
